The (late) Mian Muhammad Shafi, along with his sons, Mian Muhammad Siddiq and Mian Abdul Hafeez, founded the Group in 1940. What began as a trading house in hides and skins over seven decades ago is today acknowledged as the premier house in leather, leather shoes & garments, and leather chemicals.

This has not come about by accident. A vision focused on the needs of the time and the trends of tomorrow, a spirit of enterprise that has constantly led to enhancement of capabilities, and continued performance of sterling quality in a highly competitive environment have been the stepping stones to this success. For more than seventy years, we have stood firm to our founder’s ideals and to this day we still deliver the very best products our customers have grown to expect.

In this fast paced 21st Century, Siddiq Shafi Group of Pakistan now includes Four manufacturing units, two tanneries specialized in Cow, Buff, Goat & Sheep leathers, one footwear unit, and one special chemical producing unit. The group is expanding rapidly with respect to latest technology and operational capacity. The annual turnover of the Group of Companies is about US$ 40 million with major exports to over 32 countries worldwide.
